My Partner and I stayed very recently at Wrangham House. Room1 Extremely clean room with a large comfortable Bed with lots of pillows too! The Garden is well kept. And a lovely place to sit and watch the wild life whilst having a Glass of wine. Peter and Stacie were wonderful Hosts. Very friendly and hospitable. And not to forget the young waitresses at Breakfast. Very polite and attentive. We had Dinner and Breakfast during our stay. Both excellent. The Hotel is in a lovely village. 2 Pubs, a few shops and a Pretty Church and great for anyone who likes scenic walks. Overall..... A great location to visit the East Coast of Yorkshire. Would definitely stay again

I stayed here for 1 night for a work trip & I honestly wish it had been longer. The building its self is gorgeous, very picturesque & full of charm and character, with a great balance of personal touches to make it feel instantly warm & comfortable. The decor in the rooms is very nice, in keeping with the heritage feel of rest of the building but with modern amenities offering convenience. There are touches of class, like the Yorkshire tea in the rooms & the real tea leaves used in the tea at breakfast, not to mention the delicious breakfast menu. I smashed out a gorgeous smoked salmon & perfectly scrambled eggs for breakfast. But for all the positives the hotel & the building it’s self bring, the best part of the stay was the fantastic couple who run the place. From the minute I met them, they were humorous, charming, witty, accommodating & helpful. Just all round lovely people. I really hope to get an opportunity to stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and every interaction felt warm and genuine. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast – a fantastic selection with something for everyone, fresh and delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a truly friendly atmosphere.

What a hidden gem. I had my divorce party here. Stacie made the whole evening go so smoothly. Chess was fantastic serving all the cocktails. Peter’s food was out of this world. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The champagne was amazing, everyone commented on how fabulous the bedrooms were and the breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I was having such an amazing time I didn’t take enough photographs of the food, but it was amazing.
